Tyn Cellar Cottage This unique cottage has been lovingly converted into a two-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage. It has retained many of its original 1880’s characteristics including all the original beams in the bedrooms. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms lit by Velux windows with superking /twin beds and a toilet. The oak flooring in the bedrooms has been recycled from one of the local schools that was being demolished. The cottage looks east so catches the morning sun through its two large windows and has views looking out onto its own large. The Dairy Cottage The Dairy, was part of the old milking parlour and has been converted and refurbished into a delightful self-catering cottage that will sleep up to three people. The Dairy is entered through a shared courtyard. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen diner and lounge. The ground floor has underfloor heating, A rear door leads on to the patio and car park. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a superking bed that can be converted into two single beds as well as a single bed with views of the Margam Hills and an ensuite shower room. The wooden ceiling beams are mostly original but where they have been changed the timber has been used from the Old Granary floor joists. The cottage has reclaimed oak floors throughout and these were recovered from an old private school in Cardiff. The Milking Parlour The Milking Parlour, has been converted and refurbished into a lovely self-catering cottage that will sleep up to three people. The Milking Parlour is entered through the central courtyard. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen diner and lounge. The ground floor has underfloor heating and a rear door leads onto a patio area and car park with views of Margam Hills. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a super king bed that can be converted into two singles, an ensuite shower room and is heated with radiators.
