The property is fully detached and is of a traditional stone construction under a pitched and slated roof. Entry to the bar and restaurant are separate although can be accessed from within. In addition to the bar and restaurant there are also 3 chalets.

Crianlarich is a popular village located within the Loch Lomond National Park on the A85 road in Highland Perthshire, approximately 1 hour north of Glasgow and around 1 hour north west of Stirling. The village lies in the Glen of Strath Fillan at the north western extent of The Trossachs lying in the shadow of several Munro peaks, most notably Ben More. This location undoubtedly generates trade all year round with many outdoor enthusiasts stopping off. The village also lies halfway along the long distance footpath of the West Highland Way. Rod & Reel has a prominent roadside position astride the A85, ideal for capturing an abundance of trade.
