The Galloway Arms Hotel is set over 3 floors. On the ground floor you have the front foyer which is used also for dining and a coffee area with comfortable seating, the main bar area with excellent furniture and fixtures which is also repeated throughout all public areas. This can seat 40 customers, then the separate dining room which can seat a further 50 - this also gets used for private functions. This leads through to the main reception area where you have the first of two sets of public toilets located on the ground floor. There is also another Bar / Function room to the rear which is currently being redecorated which can seat a further 80 customers. The ground floor also has the laundry room, a large stainless-steel chefs’ kitchen with free standing fridges and freezers, dish washing area and access to the owner’s accommodation. On the first floor are 10 letting rooms with 4 single /double, 2 twin rooms, 4 family / twin / double rooms all with en-suite facilities, tea and coffee facilities and flat screen TVs. The second floor, there are a further 2 letting rooms, 2 single / double not en-suite but share a large bathroom ideal for families staying with older children.

The Galloway Arms Hotel is located in the town of Crocketford on the busy A75 in Dumfries and Galloway, midway between the town centres of Castle Douglas and Dumfries. These towns are 18 miles apart, so that Crocketford over the years became referred to as The Nine Mile Bar .
