On entrance to the shop, the customer service counter is located to the left-hand side with 2 serving stations complete with Post Office. The shop is well designed with functional shelving and display stands which create 2 long shopping aisles with refrigeration units down one side and alcohol fridge on the other. To the right-hand side of the shop is a large stock room small kitchen and staff WC. Royal Mail also have a small area designated as a sorting office.

Crianlarich Store lies in the heart of the village on Station Road, and is the only shop in Crianlarich. Crianlarich is an important road and railway junction and on the main route to the North West Highlands. It is one of the most signposted villages in Scotland, with excellent trunk road links. Glasgow, Stirling, Perth, Oban and Fort William are all around one hours drive away. The long distance West Highland Way footpath passes through Crianlarich, and walkers provide a very significant amount of custom to the store during summer months. The area nearby is surrounded by picturesque mountains and steep glens providing ever changing and often breathtaking west highland scenery with some of the best views in west central Scotland. There is interesting walking country and for the more adventurous, challenging hill climbs and mountaineering. Skiing is available at Glencoe and the Nevis range. For the field enthusiast, there are opportunities to fish by permit for trout and salmon on the local rivers and lochs and some of the local estates run commercial shoots as well as allowing stalking by prior arrangement. Crianlarich railway station has regular services to Oban, Fort William and Glasgow, and also the Caledonian Sleeper service to London. Primary schooling is available in the village where there is also a nursery, and secondary education is available in Callander. Private schooling is available in Crieff. Crianlarich has a pub, several hotels and B&B establishments and a large Youth Hostel all catering for the many visitors to the area.. The village also has a Police Station, Fire Station and a well used Village Hall.
