Over the years, improvements have constantly been made, with a gas boiler to power the radiators in the insulated kennel building. The cat kennels have polypropylene linings for effective cleaning, and all have an individual electric pet heater. The large outdoor runs ensure the cats all have plenty of freedom to move about and get lots of fresh air; with the individual outdoor runs providing a complete change of scene for the dogs. There is a food preparation room and additional storage within the kennel block along with the main reception.

Locally there are excellent amenities in Loanhead with a number of local schools as well as a busy High Street. Located just one mile from the Edinburgh City By-Pass the location of the business is ideal for customers from both the City Centre as well as outlying areas who will be travelling from the ever-expanding Edinburgh Airport and Glasgow/Newcastle Airports which are both easily reachable in just over 1 hour.
